What are the benefits of using public transportation?
Every penny spent on fuel counts. Take advantage of the access to CATS buses and LYNX light rail included in your Miscellaneous Transportation Service Charge.
Every mile counts. Motor vehicles are the number one source of air pollution in North Carolina, so every mile in your personal vehicle matters! Even transitioning your weekend trips into the city from your personal vehicle to the LYNX blue line will help create a cleaner city.
Keep it moving. Using public transportation allows the ease of not having to battle through traffic. Allowing more time for yourself to read, learn a new language or catch up on the news, all while riding transit.
