Niner Transit

Here are important  transportation changes you will notice when riding Niner Transit this semester:

  • The Niner Transit Gold Route will be temporarily unavailable this semester due to staffing challenges.
  • The Niner Transit Silver and Green Routes will run Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to midnight, and Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to midnight.
  • The Purple Route will provide service to students living in HRL campus housing at off-campus locations.

Visit PassioGO! for real-time Niner Transit tracking, routes and schedules.

Service is subject to change without notice due to construction, weather and special events. Updates are posted on Twitter @CLT_PATS.

Shopping Shuttle information

The Shopping Shuttle is back! Due to the popularity of the pilot program, the Shopping Shuttle will be available to take students from campus to Harris Teeter, Target and Patel Bros.

The Shopping Shuttle will operate Friday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., except on football game days. Students must show their 49er ID to board the shuttle.

LYNX light rail and CATS updates

Students who have paid the Miscellaneous Transportation Service Charge may ride LYNX light rail and CATS buses, including the Special Transportation Service (STS), airport shuttle and express routes, fare-free. Show your 49er ID to board CATS buses or on the light rail (if requested by a fare inspector) to ride. Learn more about riding light rail.
