Parking enforcement levels

Parking enforcement is in effect whenever the University is open.

Level 0 – Standard Operating Schedule

• Standard parking rules are enforced. Permits required.
• Typical operating condition during University’s official operating level “Condition 1 (C1) – Reduced Operations” as defined in University Policy 701.

Level 1 – Summer Semester Operating Schedule

• Standard parking rules are enforced.
• Lot 6A and 27 permits can upgrade within their class (F/S or Student) for remainder of summer for $30 (no payroll deduction).
• Lot 16 becomes a standard resident lot (allowing F/S to park).
• Permits required. Meters and visitor decks require payment.

Level 2 – No classes, offices open (includes final exams)

• Permits required. Meters and visitor decks require payment.
• Any valid permit is valid in any student space (includes Lot 6A and 27 permits).
• Typical operating condition during University’s official operating level “Condition 2 (C2) – Suspended Operations” as defined in University Policy 701.

Level 3 – University closed

• Parking is only enforced in restricted areas (reserved spaces and ADA).
• Permits are not required. Meters and visitor decks are free-of-charge.
• Typical operating condition during University’s official operating level “Condition 3 (C3)” as defined in University Policy 701.
