Parking enforcement levels
Parking enforcement is in effect whenever the University is open.
Level 0 – Standard Operating Schedule
- Standard parking rules are enforced. Permits required.
- Typical operating condition during University’s official operating level “Condition 1 (C1) – Reduced Operations” as defined in University Policy 701.
Level 1 – Summer Semester Operating Schedule
- Standard parking rules are enforced.
- Lot 6A and 27 permits can upgrade within their class (F/S or Student) for remainder of summer for $30 (no payroll deduction).
- Lot 16 becomes a standard resident lot (allowing F/S to park).
- Permits required. Meters and visitor decks require payment.
Level 2 – No classes, offices open (includes final exams)
- Permits required. Meters and visitor decks require payment.
- Any valid permit is valid in any student space (includes Lot 6A and 27 permits).
- Typical operating condition during University’s official operating level “Condition 2 (C2) – Suspended Operations” as defined in University Policy 701.
Level 3 – University closed
- Parking is only enforced in restricted areas (reserved spaces and ADA).
- Permits are not required. Meters and visitor decks are free-of-charge.
- Typical operating condition during University’s official operating level “Condition 3 (C3)” as defined in University Policy 701.
