Free rides to the polls with Lime
Attention UNC Charlotte students!
Early voting is underway, and getting to the polls just got easier. From October 29 to November 5, Lime is offering free e-scooter and e-bike rides to and from your polling place. Whether you’re headed to Cone University Center, Room 112 for early voting or another polling site, Lime’s got your transportation covered. Use the code VOTE2024 in the Lime app to get a free 30-minute ride to and from the polls.
Don’t let transportation be an obstacle to making your voice heard.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Early voting is available at Cone Center, Room 112 from Thursday, Oct. 17 through Saturday, Nov. 2.
- You can register to vote and cast your ballot at the same time during early voting.
- Remember to bring your photo ID. UNC Charlotte physical 49er ID cards are approved for voting, but mobile IDs are not.
With Lime’s free rides, there’s no excuse not to vote. Download the Lime app for iOS or Android, and let’s make sure everyone can get to the polls. Get out there, take action and make your vote count!
