PaTS Mobility Plan
The Mobility Master Plan supports the University’s strategic vision to drive discovery and innovation while advancing student access and economic mobility, nurturing talent and fostering excellence.
Parking and Transportation Services began creating the Mobility Plan in 2025 in response to the Campus Master Plan and leadership’s vision for the future of UNC Charlotte.
Insight from campus surveys, feedback from stakeholder groups and data from campus parking and transportation informed the final recommendations detailed in the report.
Mobility Plan Goals
The plan’s vision is a cohesive mobility system that reduces vehicle dependence, streamlines operations and delivers a robust multi-modal campus experience while preserving our unique campus environment.
Implementation
The Mobility Plan rollout will happen in phases, with the short-term phase occurring in the next two years, 2026 to 2028.
This initial phase will include multiple opportunities for the campus community to ask questions and provide feedback on the details of the plan.
