Accessible Parking

UNC Charlotte parking permit credentials and a disability placard or state-issued disability license plate are required in ADA spaces in all parking decks and lots.

Disability placards are registered to people, not vehicles. It is unlawful to use a placard not registered to you.

Center City ADA parking

ADA Parking at Center City is currently provided by Preferred Parking, Inc., in the 625 N. Brevard Street lot, until a new parking deck is complete. Both a Charlotte parking permit and disability placard are required.

  • Lot 28 (by Robinson Hall) and Lot 30 (by Reese); payment with ParkMobile.
  • East Deck 1, Union Deck, Cone Deck, CRI Deck; all with pay-on-foot stations.

Football parking information

ADA shuttle to stadium

  • ADA shuttle service is provided between the Orange CRI Deck and the stadium.
  • Shuttle stops are located at the transit bus loop on level 4 of the Orange CRI Deck and Gate 1 of the stadium.
  • Shuttle service operates continuously from two hours before kickoff through one hour after the game ends.
  • ADA parking permits for Orange CRI Deck are available for purchase for $20 with a debit/credit card.

Accessibility drop-off

  • Personal vehicles may drop off passengers with disabilities at the Orange CRI Deck (level 4) before proceeding to their permitted parking area.
  • Guests who drop off ADA passengers at the Orange CRI Deck prior to parking may want to distribute stadium entry tickets to members of your party prior to separation.
  • For dropping off accessible patrons, enter campus at N. Tryon (Hwy. 29) and JW Clay Blvd. (adjacent to the UNC Charlotte Marriott) and proceed ahead to the Orange CRI Deck.
  • There is no exit and re-entry permitted from parking areas, so please ensure that drop-off is completed before entering the parking area.
  • ADA guests can be transported from the stadium to Orange CRI Deck by personal vehicles for pick-up. There is no available ADA pick-up location at the stadium.
  • When you are ready to pick up your passengers, exit your designated parking area as directed by traffic control officials and re-enter campus at N. Tryon (Hwy. 29) and JW Clay Blvd. (adjacent to the UNC Charlotte Marriott).
